the story

For 20 years, Koch Cabinets has been a leader in manufacturing kitchen cabinets, as well as interior and exterior doors.

Most of the material used in constructing Koch’s sustainable cabinets can be grown in a single season and is manufactured without formaldehyde. PEFC (Program for the Enforcement of Forest Certification) certified hardwoods are available and their green lines of cabinets are eligible for LEED credits.

Two issues are especially relevant in using "green" cabinetry, maintaining higher standards of indoor air quality and the use of renewable resources.

Koch’s custom cabinets are made using these same materials, responsible woods and use low VOC glues, adhesives and finishes. Their green lines use a sustainable wheat board material that can be grown in a single season and is manufactured without formaldehyde.
